***** VERY IMPORTANT WARNING: Adult content on NSC

I have just been served with a warning from Google regarding adult imagery on NSC.

As a result, it is a strong possibility that Google ads will be withdrawn from NSC. I can not over-state how disastrous this would be for the site. To all intents and purposes, Google ads (not the Amazon link) pays for this site to run.

It really is very simple:

No google ads = no NSC in the current format. Very possible no NSC at all.

With immediate effect:

- Please STOP from posting adult imagery on NSC.
- Please report any adult imagery IMMEDIATELY.

If you are aware of threads that already contain adult imagery, of any sort, please locate them and report them so action can be taken.

It may be too late already, but there may be a chance that if we can tidy up NSC then Google will allow us to stay in their programme, providing a vital source of income to help pay our c£500/month hosting bill.

If Google pull the plug on NSC, I might as well close the site down now-ish and donate NSC's cash-pot to a suitable worthy cause as, without Google's income, the site will just hemorrhage cash until it runs out.

Bloody hell, the closest to "adult" content in there is one topless pic that is no worse than you can find on page 3 of a family newspaper in the UK!

As long as we can ride out the current crisis, I don't see the banning of this sort of stuff as any great loss to NSC.

I was expecting to see explicit images or something on that thread, the worst was a topless shot? Still if Google take away the source of income and are complaining about something like this, then it is not good news at all.

Can you please remind me of why you're paying more per month than I pay per year for a reseller server that hosts around forty web sites?

I may be wrong, but it sounds to me like you're on the wrong hosting package, or with the wrong hosting company.



EDIT: If you're honestly paying 6 grand / year to host NSC then you're just not on the wrong package - you're actually being f*cked!
