User nominated bannings

There are some users who don't do a massive amount wrong per NSC's rather loose rules but are somewhat annoying and generally add little positive to the community. (If you think this comment might be aimed at you, it probably is)

How about the following process:

- Any member can nominate another for banning.
- A nomination must receive 10 seconders within 24 hours, otherwise it is ignored.
- An open vote is held for 7 days whereby people vote whether to ban the member or not. If the outcome is 'yes' then they're outta here, if it's a 'no' then they remain.

Some rules:

- Each member can only nominate once every 3 months.
- Each member can only be nominated once every 3 months.

You can debate the merits of this whilst I spend the afternoon in a car. I look forward to catching up later.

Good idea but it depends on the person.

Some people just need an enforced "resting" for a little while call it a sin bin if ya like, whereas (rarely) some need a perm ban.

Why not bring the Like and Dislike system back and then ban people who get a certain amount of dislikes ? Much less administration that way !

For the record, I think it's a NAFF idea.
