Took the car out into town to do a bit of shopping and managed to slide it about 20 feet when I got back into my road when doing walking speed. I just told some of the people in my office about the snow in Haywards Heath and they said "ah but it has to get over the Downs before it can get here". I don't really understand why snow in the sky will struggle to get "over" the Downs but I hope they are right.

The hills to the east of Brighton are getting covered in snow. It seems to be moving towards Withdean.
