I would question the common sense one at times, depends which steward you get.

Some good and some bad same as any profession

As ever there seems to be some passing the blame or not my problem.

No steward should pass the blame or have the not my attitude view, If unsure they should call their supervisor It's what i had to do a few times

thats my point. On Tuesday they gates were just opened when it was obvious the club officials weren't going to get the tickets out by the end of the game.

Procedure means we can't just make certain decisions. The vast majority of stewards have common sense and all are trained.

But you know all that anyway

So in amongst all these procedures is there any kind of contingency plan to deal with what happened the other night?
