I'm sorry, but I don't see that as criticism. He is stating that Jake has a great deal of potential and wants to see it more often. I suspect that the manager and player talk to each other rather than through the press and he was congratulated on his performance.

As said, it could have been said at the training ground, not as an interview. I know the effect it is having and his chin is on the ground let alone his feet.
