Jenny Langston-Barnard former mayor of Brighton who with her husband Mark Barnard were on Brighton & Hove planning committee who pushed through Falmer at early palanning stages.

Difficult to estimate numbers, but I would guess 1000 - 1500. Good turnout. Good speeches. Couple of TV cameras.

She lives round the corner from me and her and her family are al right wierdo / psycho's. Kids from West Hove school have been scared of them for years. Even when I was at infants they were known and the nutty family and that was a long long time ago.
