its just down to personal perference in the end i spose, i just feel Campbell is to clumbsy to take a chance with.

But 70 odd Caps and being a main stay within the side for the last 8 years would suggest he is not clumsy but an international defender. After all the whole time he has been in the team there has been a fair amount of competition for central defensive places.

Terry is world class, Mourinho says he feels he is the best in the world, who are we to argue with the bloke, player of the season last year, thats some accolade! to be voted by fellow professionals quite some acheivement, something Campbell has never succeeded.

Mourinho thinks Drogba is a competent striker. Don't believe everything he says!

But then is some of Terry's success due to those around him?

At the end of the day Campbell played the previous season in a side that did not lose a game, Terry has not managed that.

we will see at the world cup Terry will shine like he has the last 2 seasons....no doubt.

he can pass he brings the ball out he doesnt panic he isnt that slow.

campbell just lumps it foward isnt comfortable on the ball and reallty aint all that.

their isnt even a need to argue as he is never fit anyway.

and what sort of arguement is campbell has more caps than terry . course he is going to hes been around for about 7/8 years before terry

So Terry won an award in a team that cost several million to assemble and pissed the league.

Campbell has an awful lot more England caps and they have to worth a lot more than one PFA award.

ur speaking a tiny bit of sense, duno wot world ur mates in, IMO Terry is a better defender and in other peoples opinions it seems to be the case aswell, just saying. he will earn more caps than campbell by the end of his career.

I'd rather Terry played than Campbell. If Campbell plays all that will happen is he will score a perfectly legitimate header in the quater finals that will be ruled out by a twat of a ref, and I couldn't stand that happening for a third time.

But then when Terry was being touted as this great young talent he never got a look in whilst players like Woodgate did.

If fit I expect Sven will go with Campbell and Rio and hopefully use Woodgate as the back up.

But the fact is of those 3, 2 will be injured so we will be put through another of Terry's concentration lapses in the quarter finals.

wor arsenal didnt lose a game......how does that make him better.

chelsea let in the least goals last year terry's stats prove how competent he is.

and he passes well and chips in with a few goals.

the lad is pure class.
