on these radars can we still expect snow for hours as the band doesn't seem that big

The thing is the band will get a certain distance East, and then grind to a halt....

Oh well. It was all set up to be an exciting week, but it could well be two disappointing Winters in a row following two memorable Winters for us snow lovers.

I think we might just let this thread slide off Page 1 for a while - I'm sure if anything is brewing it'll pop back up again.

Dated no earlier than TUESDAY afternoon.

What a pair of clowns.....oh, I made myself feel bad:down:

Sunday is looking very interesting. Perhaps even more than what we get today.

Looking at anywhere between 4-6 inches on Sunday at the moment. Add that on to what we get today (which will still be in situ), we could well be up to 6-10 inches by the end of Sunday with the cold holding firm next week.

Crazy times.

Work tomorrow at 5:30am, will it still be snowing then?

Or just what's left from today? ???

I like this thread because you can be nosy about other people's houses and gardens

Eased up considerably here now.

I now know what it must feel like to celebrate NYE in Sydney - I'm largely done with it all and everyone has yet to get going properly.
