Trump on Truth Social selling pieces of the suit he wore in the debate with Biden - he’s calling it the ‘knockout suit’. Also other Digital Trading cards depicting Slim down Trump, Dancing Trump, Warrior Trump and Mr Universe Trump for your enrichment and adoration

What a narcissistic buffoon!

I saw those. It looks like he's decided to dispense with an expensive artist and just go full AI for this series.

They had to cut him off in the video. Even then he never stopped talking.

True to character Trump decides to exploit the deaths of US soldiers killed in the Afghanistan withdrawal by using their graves at the Arlington War Memorial as a political photo opportunity, complete with an inappropriate cheesy grin and thumbs up pose.

So desperate was he to exploit those deaths to get his photo that his campaign staff got into a physical altercation with an Arlington Cemetary official and pushed him aside when he tried to stop them as it is prohibited by federal law to use military burial sites for political campaigning, and in the area Trump was in it is also forbidden to take photos except by official Arlington photographers.

Of course Trump then further exploited his visit by using it to criticise the Biden administration's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal, conveniently forgetting to mention that it was he who hurriedly initiated the withdrawal in the last months of his Presidency.

Its quite sad that the family members of the dead soldiers who allowed Trump to join them can't recognise that he's just exploiting them for his own political ends and is completely devoid of genuine feeling for them.

Yeah, but Hillary's emails, Hunter's laptop and Joe's dementia...

Berks.

On another note, with all his wealth (apparently), you'd think the guy would be able to get some suit trousers that actually fit him properly!

I’m sure one of our resident Trump fans will be along shortly to explain to us how respecting dead soldiers is woke and the people running the Arlington cemetery are all transsexual communists.

Of course this wasn't the first time Trump has acted inappropriately at Arlington.

Trump also showed his true character during his previous visit to Arlington during a Memorial Day ceremony in 2017 when according to Gen. John Kelly, his former White House chief of staff Trump said to him “I don’t get it. What was in it for them?”.

Of course it's totally beyond Trump's understanding that anyone could do something which wasn't totally self-serving.

Gen. John Kelly also recalled that Trump refused to visit a cemetery near Paris honoring Americans who died in World War I because they were “losers.”

It's probably exactly what he was thinking as he stood there over the graves at Arlington grinning with his thumbs up.

Actually you're not far off the mark as in response to the criticism they received following the incident the Trump team did in fact launch a baseless and bizarre personal attack on the Arlington official who tried to stop them.

Trump's campaign communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement that "an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump's team during a very solemn ceremony."

Apart from his unwarranted and inappropriate reference to mental health, I don't think standing there posing with a cheesy grin while displaying a thumbs up gesture is the sort of behaviour one normally associates with a "very solemn ceremony".

It's alleged but never completely proven. There is evidence he insulted John McCain.

It is, however, against federal law to use Arlington cemetery for campaigning purposes, which is why the official tried to stop him.

Dr. Brown: Where you went did you think the laws of nature applied to you?

Marty: No, the only person that laws in general don't apply to is Donald Trump.

It is indeed. But apparently they don't think that matters since the families of 2 (of 13) soldiers who died in the Abbey Gate attack gave permission:

Completely ignoring that they don't have the authority to negate federal law just on a whim.

It's also rather telling that Trump didn't pay any attention to any of the many graves from many other conflicts at Arlington. Only the ones that happen on Biden's watch.

Trump is going after the fishing vote with "Trumpy Trout". This is a genuine product he is endorsing:

I read that the duty fell on the current President and if absent then the VP followed by former presidents. the question is why did they skip it?
