If I was Dick Knight, I know exactly what my strategy would be.
We haven't got big cash for a big name, so I would use the Adie Boothroyd model, find out from within the game who were the stars of the various UEFA licence course over the past couple of years, perhaps young guys, players who had to give up the game early due to injury, but showed real management potential and shone at those sessions.
See what they're up to now. If they're No3 or coach at Wolves or something, give them a chance. They'll probably take it, with a big incentive for promotion. I'll be honest, I don't have the names, but a board should make it their business to know that sort of thing.
