Bring back fencing then I can sit on it.

Hazard is a cock, he should have let the ref deal.

Both did something wrong, Hazard was worse.

I am neither 'team' as such, merely just disgusted at the ball boys actions. That doesn't put me team Hazard because I don't agree with him at all. However, personally, Hazard's red card should be over-turned, Swansea fined and the ball boy banned.

However I believe the media witch hunt has begun with the story being falsely potrayed. Hell even the BBC had the title 'Hazard sent off for kicking ball boy', which, quite frankly, is a horribly misleading way to lead the story. Can see Hazard getting a long ban (again, don't agree at all).

Hell, if Hazard IS going to be banned. It should be for feigning injury etc. But then so should the majority of other footballer's.

Often seen similar scenes when a team score late in a game and the goalie wont give the ball back.
Never seen a player booked for it, never mind red-carded.

What about when a fan comes on to the pitch - if a player whacks him, will the player be red-carded for that violent conduct too?
I recall Brian Clough lamping some young lad years ago for running on to the pitch.

To me, it looks like handbags - Hazard would not have needed to take the action he did if the ball-boy had done his job properly [notwithstanding special instructions to waste time of course].

But Hazard made a poor choice of action which was wrong - yes, he should have known better.

Will the ball-boy get a red card too along with a 3 match ban?

Ball boy should have given him the ball or just let him get it rather than obstructing him. Hazard shouldn't have reacted and let the ref deal with it. Both massively in the wrong, one is a child and one a professional so rightly so he will get a lot of stick for it

Eh? Cantona did a proper flying kick on the Palace muppet (Mathew Simmons, I'll never forget). Hazard tried to get the ball back, and it looks like he got a bit of the kid when kicking the ball. To compare them you must be :fishing:

18 is an adult, therefore anything younger than that is a child.
Why is it that children are allowed to have sex? Is it possible that a 17 year old is not seen as just a child?

People in this thread should also note that the ball boy tweeted before the match that he was going to waste time, and he certainly did so.

Team Hazard. Up there "Why always me?" for most comical moment in football. The game is too serious now. Ballmen hiding the ball? Come off it, what a buerk. Hazard shouldn't have kicked him, but not only was the reaction hilarious, the kick was nothing. Hardly Cantona or Keane was it. Sadly. It would have been incredible had Hazard kicked the stuffing out of him.

Harder to laugh at though.

For all the comedy tonight, spare a thought for Dan Potts.
