At least the stewards down by J block showed some common sense. After a first half "battle" trying to get people to sit down, I think they gave up for the second half, and the whole block was standing, singing and shouting right to the end. It was almost exciting!

What's the point in sitting down when each week the stewards can't be arsed to have the hassle of getting the away fans to take a seat?...

what do you mean here?

Personally, being stuck up in Row P of G block, amongst mates, and new friends made on the night, we had a great view of what was happening on the pitch, and in fact felt we had an important part, when the pitch fans started singing to the South Stand, and us back to them.

It was in reply to Elder for England's statement saying that it wasn't a natural reaction to run on the pitch because she didn't feel that way. I was (trying, probably ineptly) to point out that it's a big old world with lots of different people who react in different ways.

What was the point of Stewards wrestling fans to the ground when it all looked like a good natured pitch invasion anyway?

None!!! After the first 20 or so were on we were told to let you guys on and focus on escorting the players off safely.

Apparently NMH got to walk a very down Mark Hughes off the pitch :lolol:

I ran on the pitch i managed to get down on the track from my seat which is 5 rows back but i was careful where i went because just before i went i saw a big steward wrestling sum guy off so i went to a young 1 and ran on. I mean it was a peaceful invasion there was no violence between fans

yeah but hughes was quite chirpy till NMH started boring him with a bullshit story about being behind the re-birth of the sex pistols.

i mean, if you are gonna bullshit- do it about acomplishing something worthwhile, like being behind the revival of shawaddywaddy not a bunch of talentless no marks like the sex pistols.

Just to add petrol to the fire, Junior damaged his ankle in the rugby tackle and missed college on Thursday.

However it can't be that bad as he is playing footie this weekend against Worthing United.

If he's ok to play football, is he not ok to go to college?
