I think this is very much the wrong board to point out Tottenham's fans have been constant and wonderful during "painful" times. Brighton have had some pretty rough times too, if you've been paying attention for the last year or ten...

now i dislike tottenham, don't get me wrong, but they are a "big club". not as big as their fans would like to think, though.

Fanbase - Based on what, exactly?
20th in Country - so at the moment, you regard teams like Fulham, Wigan, Hull City and Stoke as 'bigger' than Tottenham Hotspur, based on that.
