Don't be so miserable old chap.

It's for charity, and it's a chance to see some of the most popular former footballers and "celebrities". It's all for a good cause, and it's not a bad game either in my opinion. It's slow paced, obviously, but come on. For what it is, it's a good laugh and I love it every year.

(i) Probably to get maximum publicity for the CHARITY event
(ii) Probably to see LEGENDS such as Zidane, Figo, KEOWN in action, and supporting a charity may have influenced them.
