When I saw him at Stevenage he looked class. He had plenty of pace, bags of enthusiasm and this season he looks to have filled out a bit to give him additional strength in the challenge.

...However, Forster, Davies & Hart are strikers you could see working quite well in the advanced wide positions? So maybe with that formation we wouldn't necessarily be wasting our forward options so much.

My Grimsby Town supporting mate said that when RS first went there he tried to get them playing a 3-4-3 formation. It didn't work out but it shows Russel's not averse to a 3 man forward line...
