I'm not drinking anywhere, just going for the football, don't really understand the obsession some people seem to have with getting a skinful of beer inside them prior to a game. The other reason is the dreadful prospect of having to use the toilets at Selhurst! Mind you I could probably curl one down and piss all over my seat and no one would notice the difference.

However I can never understand the "What pub is everyone drinking in [insert grim northern dank hole here]". Do you lot walk into pubs and go "Hello my name is Dave, I post on North Stand Chat, do you? Shall we be friends?"

Why not? Not everyone goes up in groups of people. If I was going to an away game in some northern hell hole town with only one or two other people then I would like to drink where there are other Albion fans drinking. What exactly is wrong with that? At no point will I walk up to anyone and say "Hi, I'm Commander from NSC".

What I don't understand is people who are part of cliquey groups mocking people who just want to have a drink where there are other fans drinking, and use NSC as a tool to find out where. Or worse, people making up pretend pubs so they can laugh at others who happen to ask where is a good place to drink. Oh ha ha ha ha ha. Seriously.

I think you're one of those morons that looks far too deep into things. I have never asked anyone whether they post on nsc.
I have proven you cant ask a simple question on here without it ending in total bollocks
Majority of people that post are complete twonks
Those of you normal people, i salute you
(for the record SIMMO SAYS i think you're relatively normal)

All right tiger calm down. If you read my post again you'll see I wasn't digging you out at all for asking where people were drinking however given your response and now that I've had time to think about it, your definition of normal must be different to mine. To me normal people are those of us who are able to find a pub in the south east without having to consult the internet first.

You are right about one thing.....this board is full of twonks! Welcome to the club!

I've been to plenty of games on my jack in fact I did on Tuesday night. I've not once felt the need to ask where people would be drinking as I'm more than capable of arriving some where, finding a pub, drinking in it.

Personally similar to the "Just home from the game" threads I think it's just peoples way of saying looking at me I'm going/been to game of association football, aren't I brilliant!

It's odds on that one of those is going to happen.

Difficult one to call. All those short sentences made it look sarcastic, but I think he was being serious.

Few, sarco meter in check.

Not sure we can provide that, but if you smile at us when you walk in we can tell you where to go.

At no point will I walk up to anyone and say "Hi, I'm Commander from NSC".
Well obviously, you're an embarrassment. You'll probably pretend you're me and hope for free beers (probably get them too).

Ha, this would be funny though, I think you should give it a try.

What I don't understand is people who are part of cliquey groups mocking people.

Our biggest problem with not having a huge array of songs, too many cliquey groups thinking this one is a bit gay, this one is tinpot, etc. etc. Everyone needs to chill the f*ck out a bit....

Going to a home game by yourself is a little bit different to going to Burnley or somewhere, isn't it? I don't see the problem with asking where people are going to be drinking, rather than wandering around some shitty northern town trying to find a pub with other Albion in. And I think you're reading too much into the 'just home from the game' threads, although I've never started one myself.

What I don't understand is the "What is the best way to get to Selhurst Park" etc threads. That really isn't difficult information to find out.

Well obviously, you're an embarrassment. You'll probably pretend your me and hope for free beers (probably get them too).

Well yeah, I don't want to get punched, after all, so I try to stay under cover. Although my hat sometimes gives it away.

what are you talking about ? I read that and see this "ooh look at me, im hard, i can go to pubs on my own if i need too" .Bellend

If you dont like an atmospheric pub ie Albion fans having a pint and having a chant then fine. But dont mock people for wanting to find the best place for that to happen. I dont want to go to London bridge with my pals to find everyman and his dog have stayed in Brighton to have a beer before heading straight to the game.

You try it first and pretend you're me and let me know what the reaction is.

Yep, agreed. I think it's a Brighton thing, people think they're far too cool. I don't think other clubs have this issue.
