It was my 2nd EVER away game (1st one being Anfield in the FA Cup too) Went by car with a couple of mates and their dads.

What a day out, I wasnt even in my teens and my first visit to Old Trafford, how different it was then to now

Remember having half the terrace behind the goal and Man Ure had the other half. When they scored they were all spitting over the fence like the dirty mancs that they are.
Goal was a free kick 15mins from time as well wasnt it ?

Yep I was there. We had the fun of three games against Man Utd that season.

The Stretford end was demolished and it was boarded up at that end. We had half the terrace and it kicked off outside all over the place. We went by minibus and had to wait for one of mates to be released by the Police before we could leave! The main Man Utd idiots used to sit in K block which was directly behind the away terrace - they also started most of the singing even in the days of the stretford end!
