Reclining your seat on a plane

I've just got in from 12 hours on a plane and I reclined my seat to go to sleep. I think that's perfectly acceptable on long haul as most people are doing the same and on the boeing 777 we were on you get loads of room between seats so it's not an issue.

It does piss me off when people instantly recline it for no reason the second you get on the plane though, especially on a short hall flight where the seats are closer together, then you're a selfish twat.
