Nestling in green nowhere
A bullet dropped from shoulder height and a bullet fired from a rifle on a completely level trajectory at exactly the same height will both hit the ground at the same time.

Nobody ever believes this despite the law of gravity.

My add insists that if you mixed every colour in the spectrum together, you would get white.

I do not believe him.

Put me down as a sceptic for now at least...how does that work then?

If you put one grain of rice on one square of a chess board, then double it (two) on the next square, then double it (four) on the next square, and keep on going like that...

you get bored very quickly.

A glass prism has invisible colour reservoirs built into them - a bit like the things that put the stripes into toothpaste - that splits and dyes the light as it passes through.
Pink Floyd invented a means of filling the reservoirs by cleverly reversing the process using cellophane and torches.

When they tried it with paint it was "well shit".

Didn't know Tony Blair was related to the Queen, but he must be if he's related to Cameron, who is a direct descendant of William IV (Queen Victoria's uncle).

From the 'Genealogists' Magazine': (Volume 29 Number 10 Jun 2009)

Royal Blair

Genealogy is full of surprises so it comes as an ironic reveltaion that the anit-aristocratic former Prime Minister Blair is in fact a decendent of aristocracy and royalty. Edward J Davies, 'Descent of Tony Blair from James V, King of Scots', in The Genealogist 22 (2008), 247-55 revels that his grandmother desended from minor Scottish gentry going back to the Leslie family and thence from Robert Stewart, Earl of Orkney, a bastard of King James V of Scotland. As James V was a grandson of King Henry VII of England, he also desends from the medieval English kings. He is thus a distant cousin of a certain David Cameron who, descendant of William IV, also shares the desent from James V. Genealogy makes starnge relationships.

To escape the grip of a crocodile's jaws, push your thumbs into it's eyeballs...it will let you go instantly.

Interesting, and useful.
