I very stupidly agreed to play cricket at Tunbridge Wells on saturday afternoon, thereby missing the England game and also drinking time!!!

I saved a pub in Covent Garden on Tuesday night, was hard work. I also ate one of their pastys, so really pushed the boat out. I'm gonna give it some thought but the first stage of the plan is to save the yeoman from 12 onwards this saturday. I'm in for the longhaul on this one, I owe it to people.

From what we know about you Grendel you will be saving most pubs in the region.

Oh yeah.

Got those 12 ticked off this weekend.

Shame we do not have a game in Lewes this year as we can normally get those 7 done in a day.

2 bus journey's normally take account of another 12, then just mopping up the odds and sods.

Anyway this year I am going to be a cider rider!!!

Contrary to your opinion, I don't spend my entire life on licensed premises :p

I work in Lewes, so I got them done last night. Didn't have a bad pint, which was a pleasant surprise but it did hurt a bit having to patronise three Greene King pubs in an evening.

I've never been on the bus trips, I'm not sure if I could put up with the mad dash for the bar in every pub.

I think it is everyones duty to complete both the ale trail and cider rider.

I shall be joining the trailers as early as my body allows as I'll be out saving quite heavily tomorrow night. I should catch them for the final 7 pubs.

There may be a debate about Buck's definition of cider but otherwise a fine pub saving day beckons. :drink:

Generally with the bus trips if you have your piss when you arrive at the pub and then go to the bar it is not too bad.

The important thing is not to get the two actions confused, especially after a day of hectic pub saving.

It is listed as a cider.

You actually going to turn up on time?

Depends on how fast I can get my rickshaw crew to run.
