I think the funniest thing about watching Arsenal play like schoolboys and probably finish mid table is that their clueless entitled "fans" hounded out a manager who ONLY kept winning FA Cups and finishing in the top 4. Can't wait for AFTV.

That really irritated the AFTV guy who kept saying 'wenger' instead of 'venger'. Wenger took a pay rise under these owners, he sided with Kroenke when there was ownership issue (which led to the fans siding with kroenke), and he dropped out of the top 4, and people pointing out fans hounded out Wenger are being selective and only remembering the things they want to make "their s*** point". It was quite funny how defensive and how weak his counter argument was.

Difficult to justify when you’ve just spent 50 big ones on a CB… ermmm who’s not that great in the air. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Surprised they didn’t go for Vestergaard -saying that maybe they did [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

White playing as the holding CB, a role Dunk does for us really is not his game. He has been hung out to dry in that team.

Based on that niche role for White, my guess is that Arteta sees him as a Baresi or Hansen type. A gifted player running games from the back, with a quarterback pass on him.

The difference. They were also great defenders in their own right and played with one or two top CB’s beside or in front of them.

Defending was the first and foremost duty of the unit.

Pablo Mari Villar and Chambers were a joke.

This is an excellent sign and sums up Brentford's performance nicely. They've been exceptional and the new post covid dawn of football with fans has begun as I hope it will go on.

Slow build up play

Post game Neville and Gallagher have basically summed up Ben White and the role he played for us and why he will struggle for Arsenal. Playing as the whippet running around when the giants deal with the high stuff worked. Last season he was often beaten in the air, now he can't be or he'll fail big time.

Welcome to your new world Ben! Carragher and Neville clearly spelling it out to him the last 10 minutes!

Those many clips of Toney comfortably beating him will be a tough watch for him, he didn’t look that outclassed in a single match for us last season.

Needs to learn quickly, if he thought Toney was strong, he’s got the best number 9 in the world up next in Lukaku!

Bissouma must be thinking he's dodged a bullet. Maybe that will inspire him.

Bissouma must be thinking he's dodged a bullet. Maybe that will inspire him.

Funny you should mention that ................. One of the Arsenal fans on AFTV said that what they (and White) needed was Bissouma playing in front of him. Another £40M (let's not push it!) for the team improvement/ losses reduction fund?

Thought he did against Calvert Lewin. Is it too early to say early days though
