I really wish he'd keep schtum until the players were signed, he sounds as excited as fan which is good I suppose but he does build hopes up every window about the type of signing he hopes to make but has never quite delivered the big ones...yet.

I agree, but even if we don't sign these bigger name players, the fact that we are even in the hunt is something that hasn't happened for a very long time, so lets just try and enjoy it!

Well, it's not as if he's named anyone. I should hope we ARE doing what he says - the deals may or may not work out, but why shouldn't he be hopeful....and say so?

Well he knew that there'd been some problem re: LuaLua when he didn't sign a couple of weeks ago.

I haven't watched the interview but the quotes don't really say that much. I still think we'll get him in the end.

Also, I couldn't really give a shit about 'big names' just decent signings would be good. I hope we're not looking at players above our station and have reasonable alternatives in mind should the 'big name' signings not come off.
