Be interesting to compare their style of play and results with ours over the season
Both will be worse without a doubt, so long as they really do sell players and have a points deduction. Cooper isn't a long term plan, he's a pretty decent firefighter in this instance.

Good gig for him really. If the fans get on his back because of Forest connection and they lose players he can blame that for any poor results. If they start winning he's a genius.

I'd back him to get some surprise results but over 38 games they should finish well below us.

He's turning into football's equivalent of the Stone Roses. Five year gap wasn't it between their first and second albums?
Well its just over a year - not 5 - since he was sacked by Chelsea and before that he'd pretty much worked non stop as a manager / coach for 15 years.

There will probably be a lot of managerial slots available by Christmas, maybe even Southampton if he hasn't got the England job by then.

What they need IMO
Short term appointment balancing experience and graft to try to keep them up this season - whether or not successful is another matter.
Biggest surprise is a three year deal. All concerned must know it’s inevitable that they’ll be paying up a lot of the remainder if they do stay up (because they’ll want someone to help them progress) and if they go down is he the man to bring them back?

Isn’t Cooper a bit of a dinosaur? Are Foxes fans happy?
