Whether he's coming or not you think an International who played 13 times for the States in the last year and in the Champions League recently is way beneath us? :ffsparr:

Please point out for the rest of us as to where I said 'he is way beneath us'.
I hate the awfully inaccurate miss-quoting that goes on in this forum.

Correct he has played for the USA, not much to shout about at our level.
He played in the CL with Rangers from the Scottish League.

If he played for nearly any South American Team and played in the CL with an English/Spanish/French/Italian/German club then that would be something to definitely shout about.

You said we are aiming higher, so by implication that means he's beneath us. You do realise that the USA have reached the last 4 World Cups (knockout stages in two of them)? How many of our other players CURRENTLY play for a team that has achieved this? Oh yeah, none. What a daft statement. Almost every player for the States is Championship standard if not better.

Do you REALLY think that the USA national team and a team who played in the Champions League are 'not much to shout about at our level'?

I don't know if that's unbelieveably arrogant or unbelieveably deluded.

Hmm I do trust the OP, could be many of players, Balmy sounds likely but the height description doesn't match. I do wonder!
