Apparently North Korea are refusing to start in their match due to a "dispute over their national flag", according to Sky.

Or, more precisely, the display of the South Korean flag.

Players now warming up on the pitch.

Disqualify them and send them home. Don't need any political bullshit thank you.
So you'd be happy for us to run out under the French tricolour?

"The issues that have caused the delay have now been resolved and the match will kick off at ten to nine".

I presume someone senior will get the sack for this unbelievable cock-up.

Well there are plenty of sth's who have thrown their toys out the pram because their seat has been given to a Chelsea fan

Not sure we could of chosen a worse country to wind up. Excellent work on day one. Who knows what we can achieve by the closing ceremony.

Honduras and Morrocco drew 2-2 at Hampden, just before the main event, Spain v Japan

And isn't Hampden a CRAP stadium? It looks like it's been done on the cheap, and the ends are miles away from the goals a bit like the bad old Stamford Bridge days. Rubbish.

How full is it? Weren't LOADS of Hampden tickets unsold as the Scots weren't interested?
