The ref should have asked the linesman if he was level with the incident, as soon as he said that he wasn't then how could he honestly say whether it was inside or outside the box...that was a truly dreadful decision and it cost us two points.

Definitely the Bournemouth player that handled it as it was someone wearing short sleeves (Fletcher) and everyone could see it was outside the area. Their first shot on target in the whole game aswell. Sickener.

f***ing DISGRACE!

That linesman (and ref) should NEVER be allowed near a football pitch in their lives EVER again. And they should be publically STONED. *****.

Ref's gone to the lino as he isn't sure whether it's inside or outside. Clearly outside from the TV pictures (not even sure who's hand it was), so the lino must have been 100% it was inside otherwise the doubt would go with the defending team.

I'm looking at Elphick wondering why he is jumping with his arm raised though, had a good game otherwise.

Nope. It's very definitely the ref. He had a much better view. He's the one who makes the final decision. He's the one that's been poor all game and he's he one that kept Symes on the pitch. The ref is a ****.

It was right on the edge, he went to ask the lines man who would of had a better view of it being inside or outside.

Shocking decision. Terrible. Amateur. Third rate. Pathetic.

Can't see how Bournemouth are up there on that performance though. They offered absolutely nothing all game up front. Robbed of two points. Hopefully the other results will go our way later. Come on the monkey hangers!!!!!!!

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Disgusting decision - the lino was at least 6 yards away from the line of the penalty area.

There's no way he should have been absolutely certain - the referee was closer and had a better view of the play.

If a penalty's awarded, the officials have to be absolutely certain that it was a penalty and not that it might have been one. They were hopelessly wrong on this occasion.
