The seagull trapped in the chimney by Deano's Right Foot was wonderful entertainment, and has quite rightly left a lasting legacy on the NSC badge at the top. I remember following the whole thing at work and being absolutely ENTHRALLED. Pictures and everything, great descriptions of what was going on. Just a wonderful thread.

Gee thanks Easy!!!

Christ on a bike, yet more revisionism - that was the much-missed NSC LEGEND (and I use that term advisedly) Hart's Shirt.

I stand corrected.
Wasn't it an evening game?

My seasonal favourite was the snowflakes that fell over NSC late one Xmas night. I think it was Turkey that did it. Unfortunately they made the board grind to a halt, and they were swiftly sent packing. Yo ho HO!

(can we have 'em back please?)

Please stay off the pitch.......

Just hilarious. And of its moment, we were so often neck and neck with them, we always seemed to come out on top, we beat them regularly, we finished above them, it was a great bit of rivalry. Such a shame they had a problem with some of thier fans giving them a bad reputation.
NB, Laughing Bluebird, etc, all fine chaps, great SOH, and the majority of them, as always, just passionate fans.

But hey ho, look at them now.

i've voted dessiegate but surely, although still just a baby in terms of nsc's great history - frank going MENTAL the other day would already be up there in the great threads of our time? :)

True.

The recruitment rant thread had me in stitches.

Grown men effectively calling each other poopy-pants and saying that each other's mother smelt.

Genius.
