There does seem to be a chance that we will get close to one of the coldest CET values in the last 100 years this year. Perhaps the much discussed Sudden Stratospheric Warming has kicked in at last?

My gut feeling is that this may disappoint the snow lovers of the sussex coast, with snow inland.

Either way, it's so marginal that we may have to simply wait and see that falls from the sky... I.e. Nowcasting!
