I've seen he's cut out bits of the back of his socks around the calf muscles.

The latest pro football performance fad for some that's been going on a while now.
You don't see much of the huge Vicks rub patch on the shirt these days though, and I can't remember the last time I saw the Robbie Fowler nose plaster make an appearance.

Strange what you think about whilst watching a game this exciting.
