I really struggle to understand how anyone can live in a country and be so violently disagreeable to certain enshrined cultural beliefs and traditions where they chose to live.

A good example is if say I decided to live in France and did not agree with a certain national celebration like Bastille Day then perhaps I would not participate however no way would I protest violently against it.

I really don't understand this

With respect, and I am no Labour supporter and hate Tony Bliar as much as the next man, with the smug satisfying thought I never voted for him, that it was the Americans that took us into war without much choice from the 51st state of America (us). Being a puppet has very little reward but a hell of a lot of grief. We reap the grief in the hatred from muslims we now recieve. And it is the people of this country and especially the cities, that now have to view each muslim on merit when entering a tube or bus. So thanks Mr Bush, thanks for your legacy.

Because the majority of asians/muslims living here didn't choose to come here, they were born into the racist country.

I'm naive? You are being an apologist for the minority of white people in this country? So we enclave Costa del Sol, do the English people there expect everything to be done under Protestant rule? Do the 'Costa del Sol Brits' go on bombing raids? What is the difference between that and say areas of Bradford, Leeds or Finsbury Park and the almost exclusive dwelling of muslims? Most are peaceful people that live under the rule of the country they were either born into or adopted. Unlike our population of the Costa's however I don't remember a time the Brits have blown up a couple of trains or a bus. If your sweeping statement calls all English racists I think you need to look at yourself very closely. In fact that is probably illegal in itself to brand us all racists. Naive? Brits go over to spain and make no attempt to fit into spanish culture. They want the spaniards to talk to them in english. They basically want england but @ 30 degrees C. The brits over in spain don't live in slums like the asians do in uk. Bit of a difference that. Very few non whites in high powered jobs in this country. If that ain't racism what is it?
