To be fair....we took a punt on Vicente, knowing he had a serious injury problem which took the major part of the season to get him fit...of course when he did get fit, we all know the outcome.

He got 3 goals in 19 games and we dropped to 10th?

I prefer to look at it that he brightened up the experience of watching us play by many times as very rarely in the 36 years of supporting Brighton have I witnessed such a talent as him. Even if it was only for the part of the season I saw him play, that will live with me as some of the most sublime times ....his run and shot that cannoned off the bar against Derby was worth the season ticket on its own.

Sorry I didn't think to re-mention the points that he owns stables and horses up north so management of that would be near-impossible. Also he has stated multiple times he wouldn't drop down a league. Again I didn't feel the need to highlight these facts as they have been posted above.
Also, I doubt Vicente had as many issues as Owen about joining BHA.
He's said it's not going to happen so let's all move on.
