I know we keep saying this about ALL the players but - Nicolas really would be a great player in Lg1.

Don't know, I guess that would depend on what division Pompey are playing in next season, I think a move for him would be more likely if they are relegated and decide to offload a lot of players, it would be a big jump to go straight into the Premiership.

Oatway was playing well before his terrible injury over Christmas. He's been there, done it and will be an important player to keep in the squad.

And significantly, after his injury our season went into freefall.....We'll never know but I'm sure that with Charlie in the squad all season, we'd have survived.

In League 1 he'll be invaluable.

We need a new left-back in any case. Lynch has plugged the gap to some extent, but the lack of one has been a major factor in our relegation.
