Hart, Oatway and Butters all should be offered new contracts, Did The Ginger Prince have to play a certain amount of games to get a contract, which i believe he reached

those sort of clauses are nearly always 50% clauses ... in which event the Ginger Prince will miss out

McGhee hinted at keeping Alexis for next season on the radio - how bloody confusing is that? He doesn't play him ALL season, then wants to keep him on the back of one game???

Does seem odd, although you can only pick eleven players each week and we do have a lot of midfielders.

Hope Alexis stays as I think he is a great player.

Is there any substance to this Lynch/Portsmouth rumour?

Don't know, I guess that would depend on what division Pompey are playing in next season, I think a move for him would be more likely if they are relegated and decide to offload a lot of players, it would be a big jump to go straight into the Premiership.

Harty hinted at it last week and a couple of people on here have mentioned he is being watched by them.

Even so, doesn't mean they are going to buy him.

Oatway was playing well before his terrible injury over Christmas. He's been there, done it and will be an important player to keep in the squad.

And significantly, after his injury our season went into freefall.....We'll never know but I'm sure that with Charlie in the squad all season, we'd have survived.

In League 1 he'll be invaluable.

If we sell Lynch then surely we'll have to keep Mayo again?

Please no.

Rents have been given a one year deal and he is a left back.

Untried though. Reidy could play there at a push, I suppose.

We need a new left-back in any case. Lynch has plugged the gap to some extent, but the lack of one has been a major factor in our relegation.

Lynch, Rents and Mayo. Surely thats enough LB's in the squad. Especially as Lynch is looking very good there.

Lynch will progress as a centre back.

Perhaps Brighton will progress by playing players in their position.
