Very true. If the Italian Police are intent on making things work, then that would be a goer. Presumably the British clubs would want the Italian clubs to foot the bill, which may be a stumbling point.

As we are all one big happy European family, why don't they let the British Police handle the security of British fans abroad?

Why didn't the police swarm into the Roma lot to send them back? The stewards were practically helpless.

Because its part of the game over there. I remember the police charging Lazio's supporters after they chucked bottles at some milan fans. The Lazio ran away and that was that.
