Not if it started after 2pm but finished before the second post?

My point was more that, surely a meeting of to decide decisions of such magnitude, could not possible be convened and concluded in 71 minutes?

Coming to a country very near us in about three or four days

Damian Grammaticas
Europe correspondent
Inside the La Paz hospital in Madrid they’re treating more than 100 Covid-19 patients.

“A nurse involved in their care told us the hospital was under intense pressure, a gymnasium had been turned into an emergency ward with 20 extra beds, staff were exhausted and some of them didn’t have enough protective equipment, leading them to be afraid they’d be infected themselves.

Outside, many of those coming and going - hospital staff and visitors - are wearing face masks.

The pace of Spain’s outbreak is accelerating. There are now 2,900 cases, up by more than 700 in a day. Equality Minister Irene Montero has tested positive. So her partner, Deputy Prime Minister Pablo Iglesias, is under quarantine, and the entire government is being tested along with Spain’s royal family as all may have been exposed.

The Real Madrid football team are in quarantine too and all football matches have been cancelled for two weeks.

Still there is a fear that the situation in Spain is perhaps a week behind what’s happening in Italy, and far from the peak of infections here”

What precisely about the way Government has operated in recent times makes you think they thought long and hard about, and fully discussed all the implications of, a massive decision they're trying to make?

We have just binned Skype as Microsoft are binning it...we use TEAMS now.

After teething issues, it actually pretty good now

We have both and I can't see what the difference is except teams takes up the whole screen, but doesn't let you send links easily like Skype does.

Follow the Boris trend: blame the victim

It is getting more dangerous than cycling.

Following the cycling deaths, Boris Johnson stated in an interview on BBC Radio that cyclists were endangering their lives when not following road traffic laws.

I live in a part of Gothenburg regarded as a "no-go" zone; we've got drug addicts, drug dealers, drug stealers, drug producers, drug smugglers, people with guns, knives...

Surreal trip to the local store today, seeing 30+ gangsters queing up with toilet paper was pretty ****ing surreal.

No school closures... yet.

It's a joke. Nonsense excuse that kids don't suffer from it, but parents/grandparents do.

It's becoming self evident that do nothing "take it on the chin'" is the balance that Johnson is going for.

All of Europe inc ireland is scientifically wrong?

It is based on expert medical advice... according to Nicola Sturgeon.

She is going against expert medical advice and imposing a ban on mass public gatherings in Scotland - and wasn't able to clearly explain why... political expediency perhaps?
