Controversial take here but I think that our defensive shape is much better when Lamptey isn't playing. Saving him for Fulham who a) aren't as good as Leicester and b) more easily exploited by his pace, may be a wise choice from Potter imo.

Webster being dropped is also eye catching. Surprised little reaction to that. I don’t think GP has dropped him many times since signing him.

Potter rotating the squad, maybe? I bet Leicester are relieved to see Lamptey's name missing from the team sheet - he ran them ragged in our last game against them.

But how did Tariq do against Saints? Very ineffective. Don’t get me wrong, I love the guy and think he should/will play for England, but he’s still a very young player.

We were very poor last week and GP needed to shake things up I think.

Lamptey clearly injured/sick. Sure, there's a chance he would have been rested regardless, but if he was fit he would at least been on the bench. Lets hope its something minor.
