Booked the tickets, got the popcorn in and sat down in eager anticipation. I had heard good things about this film. The film was 95% full of adults with a cross mixture from teenagers to old dears in the 80's.

The lights dimmed and I strapped myself in.

Now I thought this film would be good but I had never anticpated how fecking brilliant it would be. I loved every single second of it from the start to the end credits.

I am going to say it is the greatest action/adventure/fantasy film ever made.

THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE
THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA

This film knocked Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire into a cocked hat frankly. It was overall a more satisfying film than the Lord of the rings trilogy, Star Wars and all the fantasy films I had seen.

The child actors were spot on, the story was great, the witch was superb, the Lion was magnificent, the sets and scenery were sumptuous, the action scenes were spectacular. It was funny, Sad, exhilerating.

It took $ 65 000 000 in 3 days in the US and £ 8 000 000 in 3 days in the UK.

King Kong will be very hard pressed to beat this film.

I recommend this very very highly

We're going at the weekend, I absolutely cannot wait. I loved the books and the BBC adaption of it.

I reread the books last week with my oldest two children and my eldest daughter was totally captivated by it.

I am totally amazed by Uncle Buck's comments. You must have been the only one in the cinema that thought that, at the end the film got a huge round of applause.

All 4 people including me thought the film was completey amazing.

I don;t know what Ross said but that bloke is a fecking tosser so I don;t really care.

Anyway I still recommend it as highly as possible

It was ok but not amazing, some of the effects were a bit dodgy and the actors looked really superimposed at times, also the actor of the lead boy was at times downright hammy.

Id give it a 7/10 max.

No need to be like that Garth, I just felt it went nowhere in particular and jumped. A poor effort, but I am sure the kiddies will love it. But then it has been brought out as a Christmas blockbuster and that is what it will be. For the record I cannot stand Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings, not a fan of fantasy films.

Am looking forward to is 'Merry Christmas', shame it has that knob from Eastenders in it.

It can't possibly be as good as The NeverEnding Story. That was QUALITY.

Now you are starting to fecking piss me off. ALL the reviews I read gave it 4 or 5 stars. I have never heard anyone say or write it is utter gash with terrible acting. Considering some of the fecking toilet some people pay to watch on this site it is a bloomin masterpiece. Now do one :censored:
