How do folks

Rumour around our parts is that Lee Clark might be interested in taking Joel Lynch on loan from Notts Forest.

Is he a decent player? We need a left back and a centre back and noticed that he has played both roles. What is his main position?

Cheers

Was ok for a while. Then got too big for his boots...started thinking he was Rio Ferdinand or something. Ironically they both turned out to be shit. Don't think forest fans rate him either.

If he could get back to doing the basics right and not pissing about trying to do flicks and backheels he may still turn out to be a decent player.

Sounds good

Have to wait and see if anything comes of this one then

Yeah it seems that Forest fans don't like him but he has been played at left back for them since he joined

Not brilliant but better than we have apart from Virgo at his best. Certainly has more potential than Elphick

Why the f*** aren't we making an effort to re-sign him

We have McNulty at LB, what would we want Lynch for?

As for CBs, I'd rather have Elphick, Virgo and Tunnicliffe than a player who didn't want to be here towards the end last time and probably wouldn't want to come back even if he was approached.

Over rated in his own head. The way he plays seems to ouze class but is too prone to the odd misjudgement which, as we all know, is costly when your a defender.

He's not the first choice left back at Forest and the fact they are contemplating letting him go on loan suggests they don't see a future for him there. Our current central defence is not watertight but it wouldn't be improved with Lynch there.
