Totally agree. We are just shown the fluffy hippy side of the organisation, and of course why wouldn't anyone want the black community to be treated the same as anyone else. It also makes a great day out virtue signalling. Not much difference from Extinction Rebellion protesting with school children for a day out, yet the same generation of people leaving our beaches in a shit state for all the plastics and rubbish to be washed away into the sea.

However when we look deeper into BLM and the cogs behind it all it is a little bit more sinister than what we are led to believe. Fortunately not all the members of the black community buy into it, and it's only when they are listened to that we can understand why. They understand that black betterment has been hijacked for political reasons and it has only incited a hatred of white people. There is plenty of footage out there of violent racist attacks on innocent white people which is not reported, and with views from the black community who are critics of BLM but I won't post the video on here because I will be removed from this thread.

My dad was an immigrant and I am only half English before I am accused of being racist again on here.

Can you elaborate on this? Or point me in the direction for some links or something?

Not after an argument, just want to make sure I'm as informed as I can be.

My brother in law works as a "City Ambassador" in Sheffield town centre. Which basically means he deals with the dregs of society on a daily basis. He's a very intelligent and nice bloke, but can also handle himself.

The other day, he was doing his normal rounds and spotted a bunch of about 20 LADS sat around the war memorial outside City Hall getting pissed. He wandered over and asked them what they were doing.

The answer was that they were "patriots" and were protecting the monument. So he asked them if there had actually been anyone that they needed to protect it from. There hadn't. The only people who were causing any trouble whatsoever was them, shouting abuse at random passers by.

He had a laugh with them but let them know that drinking in the street was actually not allowed and that he'd have to let the coppers know. Then left them to it and made a report.

Then this happened before the rozzers had turned up.......

Top boys. FFS.

Disgusting embarrassing gammon.

But I think they have seriously cocked up this time.

Is the average white Daily Mail reading patriotic old fellah or woman, going about their business, likely to be inspired by a group of shouty middle aged gammon, drinking, near a monument that may be there in part to commemorate the efforts of their old dear departed dad?

I wouldn't want any group of people getting pissed up and shouty near something like that. Especially if it's just another excuse to revive a bit of 1970s p*ki bashin'.

And the picture of that oaf pissing next to that policeman's monument will be hard to expunge as a testament to the hypocrisy and thuggery of 'white lives matter'.

Has Droopy been on yet to defend him or ask 'whatabout' some nonsense or other? ???

I'd also be interested to know which black people don't think their lives matter...?

soy boy haha

will have to start using that

It's been used by teenagers on the internet for years. Very sad when used by grown ups. Or anyone really, but you can just about forgive a 14 year old who's had a limited education.

I recall it being a favourite of our sadly banned Looney. Enough said.

Great article here. Nail on head.

Rather than tear down the past, why not add some of the men and women – most often BAME – who helped to make our modern Commonwealth and our modern world? Isn’t that a more cheerful approach?

This new vogue for politically correct iconoclasm is not just dispiriting, and unfair, and often ahistorical. Worst of all, it is a total distraction from the matter in hand. It does nothing for BAME people to go around mutilating statues, or campaigning against this or that cultural relic. There are far greater and more important battles.

In the last ten years we have seen a big expansion in BAME students at our universities; more young black kids excelling in the most challenging subjects at school. The struggle now is to turn that into the universal narrative and the universal expectation – a story of success and not discrimination. That means taking seriously the serious points that are raised by the marchers. It means addressing racism and discrimination, and stamping it out.

But it does not mean wasting time in delectable academic disputation about the life and opinions of every historical personality currently immortalised in bronze or stone.

Let’s fight racism, but leave our heritage broadly in peace. If we really want to change it, there are democratic means available in this country – thanks, by the way, to Winston Churchill.

I was watching Channel 4 news over the weekend and they had an interview with a Lambeth/Black Lives Matter Spokesperson and asked her, if Winston Churchill was rascist. She just couldn't answer the question and had to admit, she didn't know enough about his history. It seems to me that there is a specific beef with people who profited from slavery and whilst other historical figues may have had their shortcomings, the aim isn't to rewrite the history books. If there was any passion for this, she would have had a full answer.

It is virtually impossible to control a crowd, whether it is a Socialist Worker with an aerosol or a football lad with a different spraying problem the tension just seems to be escalating. Most artforms are moved rotated and swapped as tastes change, it seems odd that public statues in general are somehow an exception.

I could message you a link to an hour documentary but you may not like the person presenting it. You would have to be open minded otherwise you will dismiss it without watching the actual content and commentaries within from the black communities.

I can message you if you pm me.

I'd be interested in the same information, too, please.

I know there is the BLM website (that talks of 'smashing capitalism' and stuff), created by a few activists who have nothing to do with, and no control over the wider BLM movement. I presume he has more info on sinister forces controlling the movement, and doesn't just mean those?

There is no problem in the UK, My black friends and colleagues have no problems with Me, I have no problems with them, it is race war being stoked up by the mainstream media and the losers on the left.
Could not stop Brexit :rage
Could not stop Tory landslide:rage
Could not get Cummings:rage
Could not force Brexit delay:rage

I know, let’s start racial tensions in a country that doesn’t have a problems, Stoke the fires with what’s going on 4000 miles away and has **** all to do with the UK.

I don’t drink coffee, very bad for blood pressure I hear.

There's none so blind as he who will not see.

If you think that all this is just because people are jolly cross because of all the things you are surmising they are raging about, you are completely deluded. Have you heard the expression "hostile environment"? Try googling Anthony Bryan.

Yes, All Lives Matter.

But you are just showing that you do not understand what Black Lives Matter is all about.... and probably don't want to understand.

And Boris Johnson in his announcement of an enquire today - or the NATURE of that enquiry - has shown that he hasn't got a clue either.
