I would agree the latest round of tortune porn seen in the Saw series, Hostel or Captivity is dubious to say the least but this is a good old fashioned war film where the Nazi's get their just deserts so I do not feel I am in need of a therapist for watching it.

From how you described this film it does not come across as a good old fashioned war film. Scalping people alive! You call that entertainment.

I think those are more kind of "horror porn", and would agree they go too far.

As long as violence is within context and not over graphic and is not the theme of the film then thats OK

I think it's more the fact that he doesn't like the idea of his Nazi brothers getting hurt.

When I saw Independence Day everyone clapped and shouted when the alien spaceship blew up the White House.
