4 - 1 against Millwall in the play-offs, one of my fondest memories.

2-0 down.......we scored three ( Steve Piper a couple ?) and the Millwall nutters running all over the ground...

marvellous scenes

Oh and that guy who scored 4 against Newcastle one evening.

I've not set eyes on the Goldstone since that day. And I never will.

Talking to that Albion legend - and all round very decent bloke - Stuart Storer, yesterday brought it all back and it's a weird coincidence that the raceday was so close to this awful anniversary.

Brighton
* Mike Small chasing lost causes in front of the North Stand.
* Clive Walker's silky and skillful wingplay.
* The skill and flamboyance of Frank Worthington in the twilight of his career.
* Dean Saunders banging in some sizzling goals.
* Gary O' Reilly commanding the defence.
* Alan Curbishley scoring a cracker for Charlton in a 5-3 win for us.
* The emotion after Nelson and Bremner scored against Bristol Rovers to gift us promotion in 87.
* Dean Wilkins free kick against Ispwich to put us in the playoffs.
* Vs Southampton reserves one night around 1986 where it was so foggy, I thought we had won 4-0, we'd won 4-2. They'd scored twice but you could only see half the pitch.
* Danny Wilson banging in yet another superb penalty.
* Jimmy Case scoring vs Liverpool in the FAC.

Need I go on........great memories all.

Chappers 'bursting the net' vrs bournemouth, to make it 3 all, on a very, very wet Wednesday night.
I can still see the spray from the net, flying into the northstand.

Happy days, indeed

Home game against York City in early 70's

0-0 at half-time but the team talk worked and Brighton won 7-0

Did think about going home at half time due to a very inept performance glad I did not
