Dont you keep up to date, The board have at last come clean on the funding required to make Falmer a possibility,They had tried to arrange with Brighton Council a sharing of the Stadium with a college, due to the present financial problems even Brighton Council have had second thoughts.
It always was a doubtful project, a Div 1/2 side with 5/6000 gates playing in a 22,000 stadium,so its going to be Withdean unless there is a takeover of the board.

Bollocks. I rest my case

No matter what the highest bidder calls it by way of an advertisement, it will always be known as the Falmer Stadium.

Meopham, Kent.
We've just got to hope that the highest bidder is a reasonable name, and not as embarrassing as, for example, York City, who now play at Kit Kat Crescent.

What exactly does "Brighton Council" have to do with the running of City College?

Er ... nothing.

Not sure if a thread has been done already about this (im quite new here) but any name been given to new ground at falmer? Or is it just plain Falmer? Also, are they doing what some new grounds do,where people have thier name on a brick for a small (cough) fee?

:falmerspi :falmerspi :falmerspi :falmerspi :falmerspi :falmerspi :falmerspi

This has indeed been done on many occasions, still, it's always a fun exercise

The Despite DeVecchi Stadium rings a bell
