I feel sorry for the moaners

I have no great affection for Yorkie as we have had many disagreements on here but if she was told something by somebody connected with the club in confidence you should not expect her to divulge her source. I have been told things and mentioned it and it has brought me no end of problems but I would still not divulge my source if I thought that they had told me in good faith and they had specifically said they didnt mind the story coming out but not attributed to them..

Then WHY even allude to any reasons or sources in the first effing place??

"oow I know a secret, I'm not telling anyone because that makes me an honourable person, but it's not nice about so-and-so, and it's a good reason not to like him"

I have said that I didn't like the appointment of Wilkins after three straight defeats as caretaker manager. Other threads arose and I was challenged as to why I didn't like Wilkins as a manager (whenever I have met him I thought he is a decent bloke) I said I didn't want to give my reasons (several times to Complete Badger) but I have been pushed at times during the course of threads. I said I had my reasons. Other people have then accused me of getting info from Jake whereas I have said I know more people than just him. It has built up over 12 months.

So firstly, you don't like him because he shouldn't have been appointed in the first place due to losing games. Fair enough, but I think most appreciated the job he did for the youth team and were willing to give him time. However, if you "have your reasons" but "don't want to give them", how on earth can you expect anyone to take your opinion seriously?!

I've never asked anyone to take my opinion seriously. Just the right to have an opinion. Especially in a pub after a game when two Nsc'ers thought they had the right to have a go at me whilst out for a drink with my friends.

In my book, an opinion needs to be substantiated by some reasoning. If you say you have your reasons but you won't disclose them, you are (possibly inadvertantly) pretty much putting yourself above everyone else, which is inevitably going to cause a backlash. I'm sure the 2 nsc'ers in question felt really big and clever after what they did, by the way.

Not on Nsc.

It was inadvertently but now lots of people think they have the right to have a go.

I do think you're kind of making a rod for your own back though Yorkie.

If you simply don't rate Wilkins for reasons of x y z (be that team selections, late substitutions, poor handling of players or whatever), then thats fine, and an open debate can be held. But when you respond by saying "there are things told me in confidence that I'm not going to post on an open forum" - you leave yourself open to interpretation ON a public forum, and people are naturally going to wonder what these mysterious things are that you are alluding to.

I'm not having a go. But if there is something you can't mention (for whatever reason), then its probably best you don't mention that theres something you can't mention, if yaknowwarrameen

I find hardcore porn and outright filth a hugely welcoming refuge under those circumstances.

He's not wrong, you know. Alison Angel, Mirta, Dirty Aly and Liz Vicious to name but a few.

Or if you like it a bit kinkier it's always rewarding to spend an hour or so trawling through the MILF sites looking for a Kate McCann lookeelikee.

Hope that helps.
