I read this yesterday - BBC News - Limit childrens screen time, expert urges and one of the many aspects that caught my attention was the number of TVs that some people have at home.

Chez Bozza we have a single humble 32" TV in the lounge. There isn't one in the kitchen, there isn't one in the dining room and there are none in the bedrooms.

How many TVs do you have?

3 (Sitting Room, Kitchen and 1 in our Bedroom)

However, how much time do I spend watching TV? Very, very little......

How much time do I spend on the internet? Far, far too much!

3 - one in sitting room, one in kitchen, one in main bedroom.

None in other bedrooms as children not still at home.

Would have been 4 earlier in the year but we had to ditch two and bought one new small one due to digital switchover.

1 in the lounge and I think there is one of those 14" portable jobs with a video player underneath it knocking around somewhere but I took it out of the bedroom as I found myself falling asleep to Dave and having a bad nights sleep.

I just have the one in the living room. Don't worry about what that Dr Aric Sigman says in that BBC article - he's considered a bit of a tw@t in the scientific community and well worth ignoring. Also ignore Dr Susan Greenfield.
