Crewe 0-4 at home this year, and Plymouth 5-1 a few years back where Chippy got sent off.

6-0 V Norwich in the Sherpa Vans Trophy at Carrow Road in 1990...Robert Rosario scored a hat-trick...:tosser:

Ditto.

Except I think it was 5-0, it was the Zenith Data Systems Cup, and it was 29th November 1989.

I also always thought of it as 6-0 though, but the records show otherwise.

Just hoping that all of us that have said the 1-6 defeat at Oldham isn't a portent of doom

Can remember being thumped at Northampton, an 8-0 reverse I think in a league cup game after we drew with them at home.

I was there but was just trying to recall the score, I thought it was only 5 nil?

Apart from that 5 nil at Palace and 4 nil at home to Darlington.

2-8 v the Pirates for me (1974?).
Does this mean Clough was involved in our 2 biggest defeats? He was manager for this one and scored 5 for Boro in the 0-9 1958.

Same here. Included an Andy Ritchie hatrick if I remember rightly, and a certain Dean Wilkins scored our goal with a free kick.

Yes you are right. Wendy scored with a great free kick. I also seem to remember some Oldham fans being above all of us as well and gobbing on us. What a day!:nono:
