She has probably always lived in Rochdale and lived a simple life there, it's not her fault she does not know that eastern europeans within the EU are allowed to live and work in this counrtry. She asked a simple question which he could have answered instead ignored it and smarmed his way around it and finished up with some patronising question about her grandchildren.

He wanted to meet real voters so cant complain when they ask him a question, I think he needs to look up the definition of bigot - noun a person who is prejudiced in their views and intolerant of the opinions of others. Sounds rather like the statement he made in 'private' in the car.

To anyone that doesn't think Gordon's Gaffe is going to effect Labour's vote. ITN revealed a poll last night of previously guaranteed Labour supporters, which basically showed that now (post Bigotgate) 60% would still vote labour, 21% may not vote labour, 19% would definitely not vote labour.

Losing a minimum 1/5 of your core vote is not really the way elections are won is it?
