Has anyone given up smoking this year?

Just to give you all a bit of extra motivation and to prove it CAN be done, it is now exactly TWO YEARS to the day since I last had a cigarette. I still want one but not quite so badly anymore!

No ciggies for about 4 years for me. This new year I decided not to drink alcohol for the whole of January. Day 12 - lost some weight and can swim a lot further underwater.

Its like being an alcoholic as far as I can see I am not going to put pressure on myself by saying I AM NEVER GOING TO SMOKE AGAIN, I take one day at a time if if I don;t smoke its a good day but if I am weak and do I am not going to beat myself up over it. I have had 10 non smoking days out of the last 12
