And is a f***ing ABOMINATION.BensGrandad said:No 1 selling bitter in the country by a long way either cask or smooth.
I'd hardly say it's the vast majority. I have not seen anyone served it for years, despite it being on in some pubs I go to. No, they drink it because chain pubs (Wetherspoons etc) have it as their nominal 'bitter' as a change from Carling Black lagerpiss. And it's usually very CHEAP.BensGrandad said:Like players in a team it all down to opinion and the vast majority of this fine country of ours think it is good.

Not at all. I never said it was, nor made any implication towards it.BensGrandad said:So Brighton is the yardstick to measure the rest of the country by is it.
No-one is doubting that. But then, I don't give a stuff about what the rest of the country is drinking. All I know is I don't recall anyone I know who drinks the stuff - understandably. Biggest does not always mean best.BensGrandad said:Nationally it is by far the largest selling bitter. FACT.
With you on that one. Give me an ice cold Kronenburg anyday !!!Bry Nylon said:Just to balance it up a bit, I can't stand the stuff
