Heard the name but couldn't have told you much else about him.
Nope. The signing was completely out of the blue.
Even most Liverpool fans hardly knew about him by name. A few did when reminded.
Did you know that Carew played for Valencia ?
I do remember watching Spanish football at the time and thinking it was ahead of the English game. We were on the end of the ill thought out percentage game.

Know very little about Spanish football as never used to have satellite/cable tv
May have seen him play in a Champions League game before but memory like a sieve
Watched some footage on utube and he still doesn't register

Yes I had heard of Vicente from the Champions League and recognised him from his pic but couldn't have told you anything about him.
