This is the key peice of information here, given only 9 months left I would say 500k is a good price.

If Jara tells them he wants to go, or will do a Bosman at the end of the year its all a bit irrelavent what Roy thinks. West Brom cant afford to lose that sort of money on a bench warmer.

Of course, that could just be a reaction to the reports of Gus's interest in Reyes, and WBA attempting to up his value to them so we have to pay more.
