I don't think it'll be a striker as we only just signed Paynter. If the wages are a problem we will struggle to get an established prem player so possibly a youngster.

A reserve youngster in the Premier gets comparable wages to a Championship average sort of player. If he is any good, the Premier club will want him back. But whether he wants to go back? Youngsters are less settled in a marriage/kids/school so they are more willing to mover permanently.

But to avoid travelling and making a temporary move easier, I would expect a London club: Chelsea, QPR, Tottenham, Arsenal or Fulham.

And the player may not be listed in the top 25 for that club. So clever people might be able to guess or work out probabilities. Not me, I am busy this week.

I hope it's a creative midfielder, a similar player to Benno because it's just what we need.

Josh Mceachran would tick the boxes IMO. Gus's chelsea connections (even more so now his mate Di Matteo is there), there was an article linking us to him along with forest (no smoke without a fire) and I personally think we are lacking another class CM along with Bridcutt and I guess they would have played with eachother at chelsea. Not a midfield "destroyer" that some are after but he would certainly bring another dimension to our forward play as we are lacking creativity through the middle.

Kieth Andrews fell out with Steve Keen at Blackburn. He could do a job
Now you're talking. A proper footballer.

....although on closer inspection it seems he is now an Ipswich player loan to buy deal, so we can probably strike that name off. Shame that.

I'm sure he was playing for them against Arsenal at the weekend wasn't he?

He has had a spell on the bench, also has a year left on his deal at the end of this season.
Be interesting to see if Norwich offer a new deal soon....if they atay up I think he will be replaced and be up for grabs :)
He would be ideal in along side Bridcutt
